Parties For Kids!

We launched our Race Car Activity Party early in April 2006. It quickly became our most requested party concept! The images shown to the right are examples of the fun! We bring two custom track tables with exciting power boosters, loops and curves that your kids have only dreamed that they can set up! We also bring two tables with fun car-related activity sets that kids of all ages love to play with. Some of the coolest playsets that kids enjoy! Finally, we bring a 2-lane, 20' long downhill racetrack with our patented Race Grooves track! We bring over a hundred cars and the kids can freely pick and choose what they would like to do! It is a hands-on based party. Kids ages 3 and up will have a great time with the track tables, activity tables, as well as our world famous downhill race track! two One Party Staff Member will facilitate your kids with the Race Car Activity Party. It is good for up to about 20 kids. There are no prizes for the Race Car Activity Party. Please note that the pictures are examples of the party. We are always making improvements, adding new features, and rotating items so that the party may have something different each time. Setting up the Race Car Activity Party is flexible in that the four different tables can be set up almost anywhere. The small 2-lane, 20' downhill racetrack has leveling legs and can be set up on grass, hard dirt, nearly any surface. Please, no sand or loose gravel. The toy cars and equipment can be damaged. We can provide tents for a nominal fee. They are good for really hot days. They are also good in case there may be a light drizzle. Please be prepared to provide spaces (garage, livingroom, den) in case of showers. Race Car Activity Parties are $295.00 for an hour and 15 minutes. Additional time is $25 for every 15 minutes or $75 an hour. Two 10 X 10 tents are available for an extra $30. Our standard service area is from San Dimas to Costa Mesa to Rancho Palos Verdes to Chatsworth. Outside of this area will incur an additional $40 fee. A $25 deposit may be required in advance to reserve your party. The deposit is refundable up until 14 days from your reservation date. Your check or PayPal deposit is fine. Please allow about 45 minutes for set up and 45 minutes for take down. If you have a location that is difficult to reach, has more than a few stairs, or does not provide parking near the party, there will be an additional charge of $25 per 15 minutes |

Downhill Racing is also called Gravity Racing.
The cars are not powered nor are they remote control. It is
very similar to Pinewood Derby except that we provide all of
the racers. Your child won't have to worry about not having
a winning car and losing all day. Every race, everybody has
to pick a new car!

Downhill Racing Party Information We have been bringing our downhill racing parties to customer's homes since 2003. We bring about 300 cars, trucks and even special motorcycles. You'll see Hot Wheels©, Matchbox©, Johnny Lightning©, Maisto© as well as other brands of diecast toy cars. The kids will line up and pick who they want to see race. We race four kids at a time on our four-lane, 30 foot long track. The winner of every race gets a prize! Setting up the Downhill Racing Party requires an area at least 10' wide by 30' long. Adjustable leveling legs means that we can be set up nearly anywhere. You can see lots of pics of places that we have set up on this page. We may bring three 10' X 10' tents for this event. The tents will be used if it is too hot or if there is a chance of a light drizzle. In case of heavier showers, we can cover the three tents with plastic sheeting to keep the rain off of the kids and equipment. Two Race Grooves Party Staff Members coordinate the Downhill Racing event and prizes are awarded. It is structured and may not be suitable for kids under age 5. We highly recommend our Race Car Activity Party for kids ages 3 to 7. For Downhill Racing parties, children under 5 years old must be supervised, preferably by an adult. |

as racers or as prizes. The Downhill Racing Party is best suited for up to 16 kids. There really are no limits because we race four kids at a time. If you have more than 16, it just means that they will be waiting longer for their turn. We strive to keep things moving along and have the kids pick their racer as quickly as possible. We strive to have a race every 60 seconds but once the kids get the hang of it, the turn-around is closer to every 40 seconds. A $25 deposit may be required in advance to reserve your party. If you want both party concepts, the discounted price is
$545 for one hour and 15 minutes. Extra time is $125 per hour. We will
provide three Race Grooves Party Associates, the complete 4-lane, up
to 30 foot long Downhill Racing set-up, (the winner of every race will
get a prize), and we will also bring the four activity tables plus the
Race Car Activity Party 2-lane, 20 foot long downhill racetrack. Race Grooves products are not affiliated with Mattel, Playing Mantis, nor any other manufacturers mentioned on this website.
