Criss Cross Crash

Whenever we want to add a new feature to our track set parties, we have to test them. We look to see how well they will hold up to the rigors of the party business. I think that it is safe to say that most track sets are designed to be used for occasional home use. Not exactly for what I consider to be industrial use.

Before we added Criss Cross Crash, it went through our usual testing. In this picture, you see that we were testing one loop of the cloverleaf to see where the cars fly off of the track if the boosters are set too fast. My son would push the cars into the turbo boosters and they would be sped towards the 11:00 position. I marked a dot on the cardboard to indicate where the cars would hit if they left the track. If they successfully navigated the curve, they would go through another booster into the box.

We tested lots of cars but we thought that we would share a few images of a Hot Wheels '57 Chevy from the Shiners gift pack (5-pack).

Whoa Nelly!

Jeremy like setting up the helicopter in case the cars made it around the loop. KAPOW!

Here are the bumps and bruises suffered by the Chevy.
Of course, we have played with the set before. Here are some old pics of the kids having fun. Of course, they liked pummeling my Blings Chevy Avalanche the most! You can click on any of the following images for a larger pic.

Crash Mustang Double Flip!
Big Pig Humvee Up, up and away!
Porsche clobbers Corvette
After awhile, they decided that it was just as much fun trying to launch the cars into each other!
Jeremy prepares to block. Kapow! Right in the knee!
