"Plano Jammers Cases"

Collectors have been using Jammers to store their loose 3" diecast cars. They are occassionally found at WalMart. From 2003 to 2008, they were about $5 each. They tend to show up and are available from August to December.

They are two-sided and have 24 cubbies on each side so that you can store 48 cars in each case. You can get the Jammers Storage cases directly from Plano Molding Company.

The model # is 531500 (48 car garage)

I like buying them directly. It is very affordable to purchase them by the case. Below are just a few examples of the dozens of cases that I own.

These are original Matchbox Superfasts from the 70's. Lesney owned Matchbox at that time.
I am very pleased to have these mint condition Lesney Superfast models in my collection!
These are Matchbox Superfasts when Mattel re-released them during the mid 2000's.
For the 2004 I-75 lineup, Match introduced 'Ultra Heroes'. Adult collectors were less than receptive to the fantasy models but I think that they are very cool!
These are vintage Hot Wheels blackwalls. They have what are called 'basic wheels'. These wheels were used after the redline era and Mattel used them for a couple decades.
In 2003, Mattel released Hot Wheels World Race cars. These are also known as Highway 35 in conjunction with the 35th Anniversary of Hot Wheels.
The World Race cars featured co-molded wheels and 'fusion' graphics (brilliant decals) rather than pad imprinted graphics.
In 2005, Hot Wheels released 'Classics'. They have paint jobs that are reminiscent of spectraflame Hot Wheels redlines from 1968 to 1972.
Maisto has a few cool fantasy cars as well.
Jammers are designed for 48 models. Sometimes you can fit two in a single cubby. These Hot Wheels models are going to be stripped of their 'Faster Than Ever' nickel-plated axles for future Race Grooves customs.
These Hot Wheels Surf Crates came from the Target Exclusive California Dreamin' set. We used the surf boards for our very first diecast promotional code 3 custom, Race Grooves Flag Truck!
This Vandetta release featured FTE wheels. The reason that we hoarded these were because it rides on extra large rear wheels. Just like the VW Drag Bus and Drag Truck. (hint, hint)
Hot Wheels Sizzlers were a Target exclusive for 2006 and 2007. They were clearanced in Jan, 2008 and we stocked up!
